Hotel Griffon featured on the Blog: The Mom Reviews

The Mom Reviews: Weekend Getaway to San Francisco's Hotel Griffon

Hotel Griffon was pleased to find a great review by local blogger, Jen of The Mom Reviews. Jen stayed with Hotel Griffon earlier this year, as she and her husband planned a "staycation" in San Francisco.
"Hotel Griffon was a great spot to enjoy a night, dine on local fare, as well as being within walking distance to our Hornblower Holiday Cruise making for a perfect weekend getaway!"
"I scanned the lobby that had a concierge, plenty of modern designed seating, a computer center, and I poured myself a complimentary cup of hot apple cider. For a small boutique hotel, we didn't feel cramped at all as we gathered our luggage..."
Jen writes of her stay from check-in to check-out with absolute pleasure. Hotel Griffon is happy to have provided a great experience with exceptional service.

Greystone Hotels Stash Champions of 2015

Greystone Associates Surprised with STASH Award!

Greystone Hotels participates in the Stash Rewards program, a hotel rewards program that is one-of-a-kind. Stash Rewards focuses on unique, independent hotels like Greystone Hotels. It is a great program that Greystone Hotels is proud to be a part of.

This past year (2015), Greystone's boutique properties that are part of the Stash Rewards program set a yearly goal for new sign-ups. Each property did such a great job at exceeding their goals that Executive Team Members - Eric Horodas, Scott Woods, and Marc Horodas - decided to give away their own Stash Reward points along with the points awarded to Eric Horodas (at the Stash Partner Summit) for the achievement of the Star Stash Award for Value and Inspiration. These points added up to a grand total of 119,000 pts. These points were be divided up between the seven properties that are part of the program (the 8th, Hotel Los Gatos began with Stash in 2016), which amounts to 17,000 points each. The points were given to one associate from each of the seven properties who enrolled the most Stash new members in 2015. Along with the 17,000 Stash Reward points, each associate was given a $200 travel stipend!

Congratulations to the following Greystone Associates:
  • Christy Ruiz, The Bristol Hotel

Bristol Hotel Safety Meeting

Last week the Bristol Hotel had their first safety meeting of the year. Take a look!

Once the safety meeting was over we had everyone participate in a team work building activity.
Arnel Santos- Chief Engineer, Vicky Keeling- Executive Housekeeper, Kristina Alvarez-Front Office Manager, Aaron Guerrero- Sales Manager, Debra Sanderlin- General Manager

The challenge is for the group to work out how to transfer the toxic waste from the small bucket into the drain where it will be "neutralized".
The circle represents the radiation zone starting from the toxic waste in the bucket.

The waste will blow up and destroy the world after 10 minutes if it is not neutralized. Anyone who ventures into the radiation zone will suffer injury and possibly even death. We emphasize that everyone must maintain a distance from the toxic waste

The purpose of this game was to work together because we can’t always do things by ourselves.
