Earth Day in Oregon!

Mangers and staff of the TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites had a great time during their Day of Service for Earth Day.  We partnered with Bend Parks & Recreation Department to clean up a future community park site on the southeast side of Bend.  With nearly 40 acres of ground to cover, we had quite a few trash bags filled within a few hours!

Earth Day is here once again and Greystone Hotels is excited to be participating once again for such a great cause! Earth Day is Friday, April 22, 2016. It will be the 46th year of this worldwide movement to make the world a better place by inspiring others and taking action by planting trees, organizing local clean-ups, creating renewable energy, and other great ideas towards environmental issues. Greystone Hotels is happy to announce that each of the eleven properties will be participating in a Day of Service to bring awareness for Earth Day. Yesterday associates from the Bristol Hotel took a walk down to Horton Plaza for a free cone at Ben & Jerry's and supported the San Diego Humane Society Fundraiser.

Sneak Peak! Inn at Union Square Completes Phase One of Property Renovations

New "Spa-Like" Deluxe Bathrooms and Remodeled Elevator Ready for Debut at the Inn at Union Square

The Inn at Union Square is under a temporary closure and is scheduled to re-open to the public in the beginning of July 2016 (hopefully sooner, though!). The downtown San Francisco property has recently completed phase one of their most renovation plan.

Guests will now enjoy a remodeled elevator from floor to floor, and they will also be able to experience brand new, deluxe, "spa-like" bathrooms in each room! Greystone Hotels is excited to share a few photos of the new look at the Inn at Union Square!

Stay tuned for the complete renovation, which is expected to be finished in the early part of next 2017!

Susana Zuniga joined the Fairfield Inn & Suites in June of 2013 working as houseman, housekeeping, and most recently as our breakfast attendant.  From day one, Susana has been a perfect example of an exceptional employee; always willing to help out other staff members with a positive attitude.  She always has a smile on her face, welcoming our guests into breakfast each morning.  Many of our guests recognize her hard work and dedication each day!

Alma Noriega started working at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in January of 2015.  She then joined the TownePlace Suites later in the year, and now works as our breakfast attendant. With an inviting smile on her face every morning, both staff and guests are pleased with all that she does!  She is a true example of a hard worker who will go above and beyond.  She sure knows how to brighten up everyone's day during our morning breakfast hours!
