A popular family travel blog, Travel with Bender, recently detailed their six-day road trip from Sacramento to San Francisco, including their stay at Hotel Griffon. The Bender family ended their road trip at the Greystone property in San Francisco and thoroughly enjoyed their stay, especially with the addition of the KEPYR: 

"We checked in early that afternoon at Hotel Griffon, a luxurious hotel in the centre of the city along the Embarcadero Waterfront...My favourite aspect was the in-room tablet which was used for everything from a bedside clock, to a hotel guide, city guide and even for calling your car from the concierge. Genius!"

The Empress Hotel Unveils “SmArtGallery” Digital Art Gallery

THE EMPRESS BECOMES FIRST GREYSTONE PROPERTY WITH DIGITAL ART GALLERY 

Greystone Hotels and the Empress Hotel in La Jolla are thrilled to announce the completed installation of a digital art gallery in the Empress Hotel lobby. The "SmArt Gallery" features four HD digital art screens installed and curated each month by Daylighted, an SF based art consultancy. The SmArtGallery at the Empress features three 50" HD portrait screens and one 55" HD landscape screen (as seen above). 

Greystone Hotels is excited for the first of many installations of the "SmArtGallery" in its California hotels!

THE KING GEORGE HOTEL DISCUSSES BENEFITS OF STASH REWARDS 

In a recent article in Hotel News Now, the King George Hotel, along with the L.E. Hotels Collection and Preferred Hotels, discussed independent hotels utilizing loyalty programs, which traditionally were an advantage for branded hotels over independent ones.

Greystone Participates in San Francisco AIDS Walk

Members of the Greystone Team Participate in 10K AIDS Walk 

On Sunday July 17th, some of our team from the Creekside Inn took the time to participate in the AIDS Walk of San Francisco as part of the "Ward86 at UCSF" team. 

The AIDS Walk San Francisco is a 10k fundraising walk starting and ending in Golden Gate Park. The event benefits Project Inform, Ward 86 at San Francisco General Hospital, Project Open Hand and HIV/AIDS programs and services throughout the Bay Area.
