Greystone Hotels Launches New Property Website: Élan Hotel

Élan Hotel Launches New Website 


We are very excited to announce the launch of the latest Greystone Hotels property website: the amazing 
Élan Hotel. This re-design is part of a company-wide initiative to design, develop and deploy new websites for all 11 Greystone properties, as well as the corp website.

A big thank you to Milestone Internet Marketing and TOI for their incredible hard work and efforts in making this latest launch a success!

Elena Marinska Named Official Board Member of HSMAI Northern California Chapter 

The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is the hospitality industry source for knowledge, community, and recognition for leaders committed to professional development, sales growth, revenue optimization, marketing, and branding. Elena Marinska, Greystone Hotels's SF Area Revenue Manager, was recently named an official board member for HSMAI, making an impressive two-year commitment to the organization. 

A big congratulations to Elena and we applaud her hard work and dedication to hospitality!

Marlon Smith 



Marlon has come to us from the Lodge at Tiburon where he served as the Director of Rooms. He began his hotel career with JDV Hospitality in numerous positions at Hotel Maxwell (now Hotel G), Ventana Inn and Spa, Hotel Adagio, and Hotel Carlton. 

Fun fact: In his spare time, Marlon enjoys camping, community service, volunteering at GLIDE and learning from his three-year-old daughter, Peyton.

Senad Kolenovic, Restaurant Supervisor and evening server at the Best Western Seven Seas, never ceases to provide customers with exceptional service and an exceptional experience. So much so, a recent guest decided to write him a beautiful thank-you note, simply for making her family's afternoon so wonderful!

Lia is the new Marketing Assistant at the Greystone office in SF. She recently graduated from Hofstra University in New York with a degree in Marketing. She's gained valuable social media and marketing experience through her Bay Area internships and a digital marketing position in Barcelona, Spain. Lia is excited to begin her marketing career with Greystone Hotels! She will be occupying the front desk and main phone line so feel free to give her call anytime!

Fun Fact: Lia has a passion for travel. She went on her first international flight to visit her family in Argentina when she was just 9-months old!

Clean The World


Greystone Hotels Volunteers Time for Clean the World

Executive Committee along with the General Manager from each of the 11 properties of Greystone Hotels came together recently to volunteer for Clean the World. Clean the World is a great organization that builds hygiene kits through collecting and recycling hygiene products from participating hotel properties. Greystone Hotels is proud to be one of those participating properties. The Executive Committee and the General Managers spent their day creating hygiene kits to be dispersed around the world. Together, they created over 500 hygiene kits to be donated. It was a great day bonding as a team for a great cause!

Greystone Hotels Volunteers at Second Harvest Food Bank

Greystone Hotels Volunteers at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties

Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo counties is a wonderful organization dedicated to ending world hunger starting with local communities. The Executive Committee and the General Managers from each property of Greystone Hotels had the opportunity to donate their time to volunteer at the local food bank. They spent the day cleaning and packing food for Bay Area families. By the end of the day, they cleaned and packed over 13,000 pounds of cabbage. Greystone Hotels is proud to have participated and glad they could reach out to the local Bay Area community.

New Additions to Find in Bend, OR

New Technology Additions at Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites (Bend, Oregon) Enhance Guest Experience

Designed to be "your home away from home," the spacious rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites in Bend now offer guests the option of in-room streaming of Netflix. This is a great new addition to both properties. No longer will a guest have to stream Netflix through the small screens of their phone, but instead on the TV in their room! 

Another great addition to look out for is located just outside each hotel. As being a part of eco-friendly hotel properties, the two locations are doing their part with the addition of a Tesla charging station in each parking lot. Now guests can recharge in more ways than one at the Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites!
