M3 Partners' Conference

NINA STRAUB WINS PIONEER AWARD


Nina Straub, Greystone Hotel's Corporate Controller, recently attended the M3 Partners' Conference with Cristy Suarez, Assistant Corporate Controller. Nina received the Pioneer Award for sharing feedback essential to the development of the re-branded M3 Accounting & Analytics software.

Travel Tech Con is a conference for travel startups and developers, including ten workshops and one pitch competition. The events aims to promote innovation in the travel industry by connecting startups with established travel companies, investors and incubators. 500 Startups hosted this year's day of workshops, including a presentation from Greystone Hotel's VP of Marketing and Communications, Dave Rubin entitled, "Startup Confessional — Who, What, Where, Why & How to Pitch Your Travel Product."

SCOTT OSTRANDER APPOINTED AS GENERAL MANAGER OF HOTEL GRIFFON

Greystone Hotels is excited to welcome Scott Ostrander to Hotel Griffon as its new GM!

Let's meet Scott!


With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Scott brings leadership experience and a dedication to service to his new role. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center. He also held General Manager positions at Cedarbrook Lodge & Spa in Seattle, The McCormick Scottsdale in Arizona, and Warwick Denver Hotel in Colorado. He began his hospitality career as a part-time bellman in high school! 

Fun Fact: In his free time, Scott enjoys golfing, traveling, sports, and experiencing new restaurants.

Milos joins Greystone Hotels from the La Quinta Inn and Suites Oakland-Hayward where he held the position of Sales Manager. Prior to this most recent role, he worked for Go West Tours as a Hotel Coordinator and has past recruiting, customer service and office managing experience. 

Fun Fact: Milos enjoys playing indoor soccer on a team, visiting Bay Area restaurants and pubs, camping and music events.

CREEKSIDE INN RECEIVES EXCELLENT SCORE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSESSMENT


The Creekside Inn recently received their quality assurance assessment which included a complete property evaluation. The assessment earned them a 95% overall score!
