King George Valentine's Day Potluck

KING GEORGE HOTEL ENJOYS POTLUCK LUNCHEON

In celebration of January and February birthdays and Valentine's Day, the King George Hotel hosted a Potluck Luncheon for its staff. Each attendee brought a dish and the menu included: carnitas, duck, chow mein, palabok, pansit, an assortment of desserts and more!

Hotel Los Gatos Hosts Artist Reception & Meet-And-Greet

HOTEL LOS GATOS HOSTS JCO'S PLACE WITH ARTIST, JENNIFER LASHBROOK 


On February 9, Hotel Los Gatos hosted an art reception with JCO's Place, a local fine art gallery, and artist, Jennifer Lashbrook. In her artwork, Jennifer uses meticulously cut and cleverly arranged hardware store "paint swatches" to create pixellated masterpieces, which remarkably become more clear when seen through a smartphone camera (or if you take your glasses off!). 



The evening included a wine pouring by Left Bend Winery and delicious appetizers from Dio Deka.

HSMAI San Diego recently hosted the San Diego State of the Industry Luncheon with the San Diego Travel Authority,  San Diego Tourism Marketing District and the San Diego Convention Center. At the event, the 20-year plan was unveiled for the future of tourism in San Diego. The speakers also took time to thank HSMAI San Diego's strategic partners including the Bristol Hotel

On January 26, Hotel Los Gatos and Dio Deka hosted some of their top clients in appreciation for their business and partnerships. Major companies were represented, such as eBay, Paypal, Cisco and Netflix. Despite a major highway closure in the area that day, Hotel Los Gatos hosted a great group for lunch and the sales team was able to enjoy quality time with their valued clients.

The Inn at Union Square, One of '10 Over-The-Top Romantic Suites in California'

THE INN AT UNION SQUARE LISTED IN '10 OVER-THE-TOP ROMANTIC SUITES IN CALIFORNIA'


Luxury Travel Magazine recently published an article listing ten swoon-worthy romantic suites in California, courtesy of the California Association of Boutique & Breakfast Inns (CABBI), to help travelers with their Valentine's Day plans. The Inn at Union Square is featured for its newly-transformed Alma Spreckels Suite (stay tuned for new photography!) and completed top-to-bottom renovation. The suite features a spacious living area with plush velvet lounge chairs, a wood-burning fireplace and a half bath. The spa-like master bath features Carrera Marble, floating glass shelves, dual shower heads with multiple body sprays, a sitting area and a walk-in closet.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Kristina Alvarez to Sales Manager at the Bristol San Diego. Kristina started working for Greystone Hotels as a front desk agent in 2007. In 2008 Kristina was promoted to Reservations Specialist, where she assisted Leslie Martin with overseeing the front office team. In 2013 Kristina was promoted to Guest Service Manager. We know she possesses the same desire to be successful and in turn make Greystone Hotels successful. Please join our team in  wishing Kristina well in her new role at the Bristol.







Marisol Hernandez accepted a promotion to Front Office Manager
 at the Bristol!
Marisol joined the Bristol in 2010 as a Front Desk Agent, and became Reservations Specialist soon afterwards, expanding her duties to encompass yield management as well.  Marisol is currently the Bristol’s  Reservations Specialist, and oversees Front Office operations under the direction of Kristina Alvarez, Guest Services Manager. With Kristina’s promotion to Sales Manager, Marisol is the natural choice to take on the responsibilities of this very important position.

I know Marisol is excited about her new role here at the Bristol, and we are all looking forward to a great 2017! 


Jervis Aranda accepted a 
promotion to
 Front Office Supervisor.
Jervis started at The Bristol Hotel on February 2015 as a front desk agent, he brought with him great experience from the Wyndham and we are happy to continue to see his growth here at The Bristol.
