Congratulations to Paola Castillo - Inn at Union Square Employee of the Quarter

Paola Castillo has been an employee of the Inn at Union Square since May 2013. Paola is an exemplarily employee working as a breakfast host, housekeeper, houseperson and assisting with special projects as needed. Paola's warm smile and can-do attitude makes her a pleasure to work with. Well done Paola and thank you for your dedication and hard work!

TownePlace Suites Sunny Staff Metting

Today, the weather was so beautiful in Bend, Oregon, that the TownePlace Suites decided to hold their weekly staff meeting poolisde! Ashley Mitchell, Sales Manager at the TownePlace Suites, had prearranged coffee and goodies for all of the staff to enjoy during the meeting. Exceptional Service by Mila Rivera at the Hotel Griffon

Earlier this week, Mila found a woman in the Hotel Griffon restroom about to give birth!  Mila laid her down on a mattress pad that she was carrying on the bathroom floor.  She told the woman to stop pushing and ran to get towels and help.  Mila ran back into the bathroom to help the woman and keep her from pushing until the paramedics arrived.  SFFD was at the Griffon in approximately 6 minutes and were directed to the women’s restroom located downstairs.  The woman was then brought to UCSF medical center by ambulance, her family never did get to eat while at Perry’s. 

 Mila was extraordinary, her quick thinking, and passionate care go above and beyond the call of duty.  After the ambulance had left, Mila was found cleaning up the bathroom floor, without even skipping a beat.  Mila did an amazing job in a moment of crisis.  We are truly fortunate to have someone like her working on our team.

Creekside Inn's Employee of the 1st Quarter Celebration

        On Tuesday, April 29^th, the Creekside Inn held their 1st Quarter Associates Party. Many associates from housekeeping as well as management and front desk agents gathered in the courtyard at the Creekside Inn to celebrate. Luis Carreno, General Manager, barbecued terrific food, ordered from Costco, for everyone. Angelica and Angeles from housekeeping cooked a number of their own dishes as well. The party also included a piñata that was filled with candy, cash, lottery tickets and toys. At the end of the party, the Employees of the Quarter were announced. Michael (front desk) and Dolores (housekeeping) were selected as the Employees of the Quarter and were each awarded $50 gift cards for their exceptional work.
