The King George Hotel's lobby renovation is fully underway and is expected to be completed in September 2017!

Bend Annual Managers Outing

LAKE DAY IN BEND!

Bend celebrated their annual Mangers Outing at Lake Billy Chinook this week. The team rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the great weather! 

Empress Associate Receives U.S. Citizenship

Luis Diaz, a valued Empress Hotel Associate, has received his U.S. citizenship and was officially sworn in this week! Luis has been a part of the Empress Hotel team since March of 2014. We are all very excited for Luis and wish him all the best as an American citizen!

DAYNA ZEITLIN JOINS GREYSTONE HOTELS AS VP OF SALES STRATEGY AND MARKET DEVELOPMENT

With more than 25 years selling hotels on the West Coast, Dayna brings in-depth perspective and a wealth of experience to the Greystone Sales Team. She joins us from her most recent roles as Owner's Representative and Transition Director with Provenance Hotels, General Manager of Hotel Preston Nashville and Director of Sales and Marketing at The Westin Portland. She has also held several board positions including Vice President of Events for Bay Area Business Travel Association and was a 3x guest speaker at San Francisco State University’s hospitality school. 

Fun Fact: An avid tennis player, hiker and skier, Dayna appreciates the beauty of the Bay Area. Film, theater and music are her cultural passion, always at the ready to attend an event!

Greystone Hotels President/CEO Eric Horodas recently received a message of sincere gratitude and appreciation in regards to the staff of the Elan Hotel:

"I am writing to express my gratitude for the Elan Hotel, in particular the fantastic people working there. William Rabanalez and Michael as well as the entire staff, including the wonderful gentlemen parking the cars, and everyone in between, have continuously made my stay an absolute pleasure.

My dad has been living in a Memory Care Facility for the past 3 years, down the road from Elan. I stay often as it is convenient to Dad’s place and I feel completely 100% at home. When dad was still able, he would join me for a glass of wine, and a bite to eat in the lobby of Elan, enjoying immensely. My husband and kids also love Elan and stay with me there.

 My Dad just passed away while I was staying at Elan this week, and William was so caring and kind, and that support made a difference in helping me stay the course while taking care of funeral details.

I just wanted to let you know what a special place Elan is to me and my entire family including my Dad, and how much I have appreciated the excellent service and incredibly kind and caring staff, they are like family to me. I have told numerous people about Elan, and will continue to do so."

The Elan Hotel recently partnered with The Original Farmers Market at Visit California’s Media Event to donate a weekend in Los Angeles, featuring their Farmers Market Package.
